His portfolio includes The National Stadium at Wembley along with, Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium, The London Stadium in Queen Elizabeth Park, Charlton Athletic at The Valley ground, Fulham’s Craven Cottage, and Derby’s Pride Park stadium along with its Moor Park training ground. Previous to his role as UK Operations Director, Daniel held the role as Catering Services Director at Wembley Stadium since 2014. His history brings a wealth of experience from across a wide breadth of Hospitality and Catering operations. Director of Operations at the O2 saw him deliver a significant volume and diversity of food and drink propositions in a multi-content environment with an extensive diary of events. Full service restaurant management experience has come from his time operating the well-known Smollensky’s steak house restaurant chain in addition to time spent with Planet Hollywood during its heyday in the early 90’s. This has given him huge understanding in both high quality and high volume worlds of casual and full service restaurants. A stint at the UK’s most successful short break destination, Centre Parcs, added real diversity and complexity in terms of scale with revenues and hospitality beyond just food and drink.
Recent triumphs include creating the magnificent 450 seat private dining room, known as the One Twenty Club at Wembley, along with Europe’s largest pub, 1000 person capacity The Three Lions, showcasing the UK’s first ever “Wave N Pay” self-serve draft beer system, as well as driving significant changes in the use of technology across Delaware North’s operations in the UK.
